WMS - Dynamics 365 Business Central extension

The WMS application is a comprehensive extension of the managed warehouse functionality in your Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV) enterprise system. WMS is a unified part of Dynamics 365 ERP. This way you get a reliable record of inventory and its movements, clearly check the capacity of the warehouse and no longer have to deal with discrepancies between accounting and physical inventory.

The whole system is simple and clear, so it will speed up and streamline the work of warehouse workers. In addition, all warehouse processes are supported by a mobile app for all Android readers.

The warehouseman simply receives the goods via a mobile device and a warehouse receipt with zero error rate.

On receipt, the goods are divided into logistics units - different types of pallets and IBC containers. Each unit is assigned a barcode that corresponds to its number in the system.

Once the unit is created, the warehouse operator reads the QR codes or product barcodes and obtains batch, expiry or serial number information from the information read. If the code is not on the item, they will easily print a new label. Through stacking, the individual logistics units will be placed in a specific designated compartment. By reading the barcode, the warehouse keepers confirm that they have placed the unit in that compartment.

After the reading, the receipt of the goods is automatically booked. By posting the receipt, a document for stacking is created and an e-mail is automatically sent to the administrative staff about the stacking.

Ensure happy customers with zero errors during removal of goods. You can unload the whole unit or just a part of it. Naturally, the system takes into account specific stock information such as batch or serial numbers. You can stock out using the FIFO method. The WMS also supports the picking of units.

You can take a very simple inventory in the system. You just load the goods, enter their quantity and value and the inventory is booked. The same applies to stock transfers. To make a move, you simply read the barcode of the logistics unit and then the move is entered. You can also easily create printouts and reports directly in the WMS.

Packaging records
Track the stock status of each type of packaging (small pallet, large pallet, IBC container, etc.). With the system you can keep track of how many packages are free and how many are currently in use.
