The aim of the project was to find a solution in line with the company's process digitalization strategy and to acquire a long-term partner for the implementation of web-based projects. From the beginning, the project focused on modernising the web ecosystem, automating processes and adapting to legislative changes.

Solution
The entire web ecosystem is hosted on the Sitecore Experience Platform, which ensures high stability, security and flexibility, and this enables efficient content management, user behaviour analysis and rapid implementation of new features and updates.
Content personalization and personalized cross-sell and up-sell strategies enable web and mobile applications to analyze user behavior and present clients with relevant content and offers, enhancing the customer experience. Innogy uses embedded user segmentation and marketing automation to target specific segments of its clientele.

B2C and B2B self care portals
innosvět (B2C) and innogy 24 (B2B) are portals for innogy customers. For residential and retail customers, they offer all information about the services provided online. All contractual documents, information on payments, bills and deposits, the possibility to pay arrears or reminders online, the possibility to change deposits and detailed information on gas or electricity consumption, including the prediction of overpayment or underpayment, are available.
In innogy World you can not only submit a claim or subscribe to the innogy iPremium discount programme, but you can also arrange other services online. innogy 24 offers convenient management of all consumption points, online capacity reservation, reporting of readings and arranging electronic billing and, of course, a quick overview of payments and invoices.
The innoworld app
The innosvět family includes a robust self-care mobile app for monitoring current and predicting future energy consumption. The content, including sending notifications, is managed from the Sitecore platform as a one-stop shop, just like innogy's entire digital ecosystem. The solution uses an IoT sensor to automatically retrieve energy consumption data. The app is the winner of the Sitecore Experience Awards in the Contextual Intellingence and Digital Innovation categories.

The Sitecore-based web application Energy Override makes it easy to log in and out of energy consumption.
An important part of the application is the online verification of customer data from the ERP system. The direct connection of the web application to third-party public services simplifies form filling for the energy company's business customers. If necessary, the booking of an appointment at a specified time is ensured by the application by linking it to the call system at the branches.
Although the sign-in/sign-out process for energy services is simplified as much as possible, innogy uses marketing automation to complete the process smoothly. This is made possible by the native marketing functionalities of the Sitecore XP platform, which we have introduced into the application. By leveraging automated scenarios, the successful completion rate of the opt-in/opt-out process is further increased.
